The next thing to saying a good thing yourself, is to quote one.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

So I guess what I would say about fear is, it’s worth being a little fearful.  And so, secondly, I have to point out that experience is vital to overcoming our fears. We have an important choice, we can attack our fears or let them attack us.  Personally, I don’t like to be under any kind of attack!”  Steve Lund

“Confidence comes with competency.  As one of the ways to overcome fear is to simply become better at what you do.  By building competency, be becoming more familiar with the terrain that you are walking across, the fear begins to diminish.  Your confidence grows.  You are less fearful to talk to people, ask people to do hard things because you have done it so many times, you believe in what you are say and doing and you have grown in confidence about what your ‘why’ is.  As you grow in knowledge and experience,  your fears lessen and your confidence grows.”  Steve Lund
